Chief Minister Merit Scholarship (CMMS) Program 2024

Chief Minister Merit Scholarship (CMMS) Program aimed at recognizing and supporting talented students nationwide. As an initiative to encourage academic excellence, this merit-based scholarship program aims to provide financial assistance to students who have demonstrated exceptional academic achievements. In this article, we will delve into the significance of the Chief Minister Merit Scholarship and how it can positively impact the educational aspirations of our nation’s youth.

  • Natural Science 
  • Social Sciences/ Art & Humanities

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Valid PhD admission offer from one of the Top 50 (Subject Wise) Universities of the World (QS ranking) in preferred subject areas (www.peef.org.pk/cmms)
  • Not less than 60% marks throughout the academic career.
  • Declared monthly family income (including self, spouse and parents) is equal to or less than PKR.  200,000/-
  • Maximum age of 35 years on 26 April 2024
  • Not availed of any foreign scholarship in the past.

Last Date for Submission of Application: 26 April 2024

Note:

  • The selected candidates cannot defer the scholarship offer to next year
  • Permanent/ regular faculty members of public sector teaching/ educational institutions of Pakistan are not eligible to apply for the Chief Minister Merit Scholarship (CMMS) Program
  • Preference shall be given to the students who have Punjab domicile, however PEEF has also reserved a special quota for other provinces including AJK, Gilgit Baltistan (GB) and Islamabad Capital Territory (ITC)
  • To get admission in the University and apply for Visa is the responsibility of the applicant
  • The decision of the CMMS Selection Committee shall be final
  • PEEF reserves the right to reject any application or call off the which selection process without assigning any reason
