Government of the Punjab, Home Department requires services of Director General, Punjab Forensic Science Agency for appointment on contract basis for a period of five (05) years (extendable) as per following criteria to provide torchlight to the management of the Agency with the special focus on providing leadership, constructing quality assurance adaptations, capacity building, enhancing transparency and efficiency of the present and future human resource for the Punjab Forensic Science Agency:

Qualification and Experience
Ph.D. in Forensic Science or Forensic Pathology or Forensic Medicine and Toxicology or Forensic Immunology or Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry or Bio-Chemistry or Physics or Biotechnology or Genetics or Biological Sciences or Pharmaceutics or Computer Forensics or Molecular Biology or Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from a University recognized by Higher Education Commission.
Fifteen years’ experience out of which ten years’ working experience as Bench Analyst (hands on lab work) in forensic laboratory of international repute with successful passing of ten proficiency tests in the relevant field (specified subject) from an internationally recognized proficiency testing provider and five years’ experience in administrative or supervisory post in forensic laboratory accredited with ISO-17025; and
Eight publications out of which three shall be published in international journals while working as a Director or above position in a forensic lab of international repute.”
General Terms and Conditions of Appointment:
1. The position is based in Punjab Forensic Science Agency, Lahore.
2. The Government Servants shall apply through proper channel.
3. Shortlisted professionals will have to appear for an interview before the Search/Selection Committee and give presentation on their approach, methodology, understanding of the task and deliverables.
4. Only short-listed candidates will be considered for interview. No TADA will be admissible for appearing in interview/presentation and the Competent Authority reserves the right to reject any or all the applications without assigning any reason.
5.
