ASSISTANT PROFESSOR PAEDIATRICS
(i) MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council / Pakistan Medical Commission;
(ii) Registered with the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council / Pakistan Medical Commission;
(iii) FCPS, MD, MRCPCH, Diplomat American Board in Paediatrics or equivalent qualification in Paediatrics recognized by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council / Pakistan Medical Commission; and
(iv) Three years’ experience as Senior Registrar Paediatric Medicine or teaching experience in Paediatrics after postgraduation in Paediatrics in an institution recognized by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council / Pakistan Medical Commission. If no candidate is available with the aforesaid qualifications, then four years’ practical or clinical experience in Paediatrics after postgraduation in Paediatrics in an institute recognized by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council / Pakistan Medical Commission.

PROFESSOR OF MEDICINE
i) MBBS or equivalent medical qualification from an institute or a university recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission/Pakistan Medical & Dental Council and FCPS or MS or FRCS or MRCP or MD or Diplomat of American Board in the respective specialty or equivalent medical qualification in the respective specialty from an institute or university recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission/Pakistan Medical & Dental Council.
ii) 03 years teaching experience in the subject as Associate Professor or an equivalent position recognized by the PMDC/PMC in the basic specialities. Provided that the total teaching experience as Assistant/Associate Professor is not less than 08 years OR 09 years teaching experience as Assistant Professor in a recognized institution with at least 5 research papers published in a standard medical journal while working as Assistant/Associate Professor.

PROFESSOR OF ORTHOPAEDIC SURGERY
i) MBBS or equivalent medical qualification from an institute or a university recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission/Pakistan Medical & Dental Council and FCPS or MS or FRCS or MRCP or MD or Diplomat of American Board in the respective specialty or equivalent medical qualification in the respective specialty from an institute or university recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission/Pakistan Medical & Dental Council. If none is available with above qualifications then: MBBS or equivalent medical qualification from an institute or university recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission/Pakistan Medical & Dental Council and FCPS or MS or FRCS or MRCP or MD or Diplomat of American Board (General Surgery or Medicine, whichever is relevant to the respective speciality) or equivalent medical qualification from an institute or university recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission/Pakistan Medical & Dental Council with three years’ post-graduation practical experience in the respective specialty from a recognized institute.
ii) 03 years teaching experience in the subject as Associate Professor or an equivalent position recognized by the PMDC/PMC in the basic specialities. Provided that the total teaching experience as Assistant/Associate Professor is not less than 08 years OR 09 years teaching experience as Assistant Professor in a recognized institution with at least 5 research papers published in a standard medical journal while working as Assistant/Associate Professor.
PROFESSOR OF THORACIC SURGERY
i) MBBS or equivalent medical qualification from an institute or a university recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission/Pakistan Medical & Dental Council and FCPS or MS or FRCS or MRCP or MD or Diplomat of American Board in the respective specialty or equivalent medical qualification in the respective specialty from an institute or university recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission/Pakistan Medical & Dental Council. If none is available with above qualifications then: MBBS or equivalent medical qualification from an institute or university recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission/Pakistan Medical & Dental Council and FCPS or MS or FRCS or MRCP or MD or Diplomat of American Board (General Surgery or Medicine, whichever is relevant to the respective speciality) or equivalent medical qualification from an institute or university recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission/Pakistan Medical & Dental Council with three years’ post-graduation practical experience in the respective specialty from a recognized institute.
ii) 03 years teaching experience in the subject as Associate Professor or an equivalent position recognized by the PMDC/PMC in the basic specialities. Provided that the total teaching experience as Assistant/Associate Professor is not less than 08 years OR 09 years teaching experience as Assistant Professor in a recognized institution with at least 5 research papers published in a standard medical journal while working as Assistant/Associate Professor.
PROFESSOR OF BIOCHEMISTRY
MBBS or equivalent medical qualifications recognized by the PMDC/PMC and the following post-graduate qualifications in the subject: D.Sc, Ph.D, M.Phil (Pak); or equivalent qualifications recognized by the PMDC/PMC. Credit will be given for original research work published in a standard medical journal and teaching experience in recognized institution. AND 03 years teaching experience in the subject as Associate Professor or an equivalent position recognized by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC)/Pakistan Medical Commission(PMC) in the basic specialties. Provided that the total teaching experience as Assistant/Associate Professor is not less than 08 years OR 09 years teaching experience as an Assistant Professor in the subject in recognized institution and at least 5 research papers published in standard medical journal while working as Assistant/Associate Professor.
PROFESSOR OF RADIOLOGY
i) MBBS or equivalent medical qualification from an institute or a university recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission/Pakistan Medical & Dental Council and FCPS or MS or FRCS or MRCP or MD or Diplomat of American Board in the respective specialty or equivalent medical qualification in the respective specialty from an institute or university recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission/Pakistan Medical & Dental Council. If none is available with above qualifications then: MBBS or equivalent medical qualification from an institute or university recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission/Pakistan Medical & Dental Council and FCPS or MS or FRCS or MRCP or MD or Diplomat of American Board (General Surgery or Medicine, whichever is relevant to the respective speciality) or equivalent medical qualification from an institute or university recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission/Pakistan Medical & Dental Council with three years’ post-graduation practical experience in the respective specialty from a recognized institute.
ii) 03 years teaching experience in the subject as Associate Professor or an equivalent position recognized by the PMDC/PMC in the basic specialities. Provided that the total teaching experience as Assistant/Associate Professor is not less than 08 years OR 09 years teaching experience as Assistant Professor in a recognized institution with at least 5 research papers published in a standard medical journal while working as Assistant/Associate Professor.
ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR OF PAEDIATRIC UROLOGY
a) MBBS or equivalent Qualification recognized by the PMDC/PMC. Registered with PMDC/PMC. The following Postgraduate Qualifications like:-
i) FCPS/MS/FRCS/Diplomat American Board in Paediatric Urology or equivalent Qualification recognized by the PMDC/PMC. OR
ii) FCPS/MS/FRCS/Diplomat American Board or equivalent Qualification recognized by PMDC in Pediatric Surgery/General Surgery with one year experience after post graduation in Pediatric Urology in an institution recognized by the PMDC/PMC. OR
iii) FCPS/MS/FRCS/Diplomat American Board or equivalent Qualification recognized by the PMDC/PMC and Govt. of the Punjab, in Urology with one year experience after postgraduation in Pediatrics Urology in an institution recognized by the PMDC/PMC.
b) Five years experience as Assistant Professor in relevant Specialty in an institution recognized by the PMDC/PMC. c) With at least three research papers published in a medical journal recognized by the PMDC/PMC while working as Assistant Professor.
