Gujranwala Electric Power Company (GEPCO), a leading public electric utility Company, endeavoring to provide uninterrupted electric supply to more than 4.1 million valued consumers with more than 17000 employees is seeking the services of an experienced, dynamic and result oriented professional to work as Deputy Manager (Legal) as part of its team, who can undertake the challenging assignment effectively.

Deputy Manager (Legal)
  • Candidate should have minimum qualification of Bachelor’s in Law (LLB), Master in Law (LLM) from reputable HEC recognized Universities will be given preference
  • The candidate must have minimum 08 years of experience (including 02 years in Power Sector) alongwith in corporate law, regulatory or commercial affairs.
  • The experience in relevant field will be given preference. The candidate having understanding of legal and regulatory affairs associated with the Power Sector’s Laws, Rules & Regulations etc. The contractual frame work for power energy sales and purchases will be preferred. Knowledge of competitive electricity markets will be added advantage.

He will recommend Counsel’s fee as per schedule of fee approved by the authority. He will obtain sanction of fee for grant of special fee
He will maintain performance record of advocates. Engagement of Counsels will be depend on their performance and ment
He will submit monthly progress report.
He will refer the case to Legal Advisor for candid legal opinion where deemed necessary.
He will assist the Chief Law Officer/GEPCO Management in all matters of Legal & Labour, and responsible to perform duties duly assigned by the authority


Deputy Manager (Legal) will report to the Chief Law Officer (CLO) GEPCO


PAY & ALLOWANCES: Market based competitive package
TENURE: The appointment will be made on contract basis initially for a period of three (3) years, renewable on satisfactory performance by the Board of Directors GEPCO
